At Goody’s House, we are more than just a non-profit organization; we are a family dedicated to helping those in need of recovery. Founded by a husband and wife who have walked the path of recovery themselves, with 21 years of combined sobriety, respectively, we understand the challenges and triumphs that come with the journey to wellness.
Our mission is simple yet profound – to provide a safe haven for individuals seeking recovery from domestic violence or drug addiction. We offer a sober living home where individuals can find solace, support, and a fresh start. In addition to shelter, we provide essential resources such as clothing and furniture to aid in the transition to a healthier lifestyle.
The heart of our organization lies in our personal experiences. Having lost a beloved brother 4/14/24 to mental illness and addiction and witnessing first hand the struggles of our own family members with addiction, we are driven by a deep sense of empathy and compassion. We aim to extend our hand to as many individuals as possible, offering them a sanctuary where they can heal and rebuild their lives.
At Goody’s House, we believe in the power of community and the strength of family. We are here to support, guide, and uplift those who are on the path to recovery. Our goal is simple – to bring people back home, both physically and emotionally, and to provide them with the safe space they need to thrive once again.
